A topographical test is a sub-field of PCO licence that assesses your skills in reading and understanding maps and routes of London.
No, the test is not much difficult if you get proper training for attempting it. It is an easy assessment to take if you practice properly by getting a good training course.
The test requires scoring at least 60 marks or above that will indicate having enough map-reading knowledge.
If you fail the test, don’t be disappointed as you can retake the test BUT, if you fail the second time as well, you will need to redo the whole PCO registration process. So, it is important to make sure that you prepare well for the test.
The test will remain valid for 6 months. However, you will not have to retake it until the PCO licence is valid.
